Integrations overview
Each integration turns on by itself when its builder or theme is active, and adds your active fonts to that tool’s font picker. There’s nothing to set up.
Turning an integration off#
Settings → Where fonts appear → Page builders & themes has one Use with … switch for each supported builder or theme that is active on your site. Turn one off to stop adding your fonts there. Supported tools that aren’t active are listed underneath.
Your fonts still load on the site either way. The switch only controls the font picker and the tool-specific features described in each post.
The Google Fonts switch#
Settings → Privacy → Stop page builders loading Google Fonts is on by default. Where a builder supports it, it turns off that builder’s own Google Fonts, so:
- Your fonts are listed first, without hundreds of Google fonts in the way.
- Nothing loads from Google, in the editor or on your site.
- A font that shares its name with a Google font (for example a self-hosted Inter) is always served from your site.
The last point matters because several builders keep track of fonts by family name. With their Google list on, they may see “Inter”, assume it’s the Google font, and load it from Google.
On the first activation, a notice explains this and offers Undo, which turns the switch off.
Pages that already use a Google font#
Pages keep the family name they were built with. When the builder stops loading Google Fonts, add the same family in Nahnu Fonts and your copy is used automatically. If you don’t, that text falls back to another font.

Theme or plugin Google Fonts#
The switch above covers builders. For a theme or plugin that adds its own fonts.googleapis.com stylesheet, turn on Settings → Privacy → Block Google Fonts from the theme and other plugins.
Builder not listed?#
You can still use your fonts:
- Type the family name into the builder’s custom font field, if it has one.
- Use the CSS variable in custom CSS:
var(--nahnu-font-inter). - Use Apply to selectors to set fonts site-wide.
Developers can add an integration. See Building an integration in Developer.
