Bricks

2 min readUpdated October 28, 2026

Your fonts appear in the Favorites group at the top of every Bricks font picker, so they’re the first thing you see. Checked against the Bricks 2.4.3 source.

Use a font#

  1. Open a page in Bricks and select an element.
  2. In Style → Typography, open Font family.
  3. Your fonts are listed under Favorites at the top. You can also type the name.

For site-wide fonts, set them in Theme Styles → Typography.

If you want a fallback font in the generated CSS, set it in the font control’s fallback field. Bricks only adds a fallback you set yourself.

Google Fonts switch (keep it on with Bricks)#

With Stop page builders loading Google Fonts on (the default), Nahnu Fonts does the same as Bricks’ own Disable Google Fonts setting: Google fonts leave the picker and stop loading in the builder and on your site.

Keep this on with Bricks. Bricks keeps track of fonts by family name. With its Google list on, a font that shares a name with a Google font (for example a self-hosted Inter) is treated as the Google font and loaded from Google.

Pages that already use a Google font keep its name. Add that family in Nahnu Fonts and your copy is used.

Good to know#

  • Your fonts are also added to Bricks’ standard fonts list.
  • Bricks saves favorites with its global data. They stay after you save. A favorite whose font you deleted simply isn’t shown.
  • You can remove our fonts from Favorites in Bricks like any favorite; they’re added back the next time the builder opens.
  • Our stylesheet loads in the builder canvas, so text previews correctly. It doesn’t load in the builder’s own panels, so “Apply to” rules like body don’t restyle the Bricks interface.
  • Bricks’ own Custom Fonts keep working alongside Nahnu Fonts. Use one or the other for each family.

Turn it off#
