Beaver Builder

2 min readUpdated October 28, 2026

Your fonts appear in Beaver Builder’s font picker under System fonts, listed first, with the weights you added. Checked against Beaver Builder’s developer documentation.

Use a font#

  1. Open a page in Beaver Builder and edit a module, such as Heading or Text Editor.
  2. Go to the Style tab and find Typography.
  3. In Font, choose your font from the System group, then pick a weight.

The weights offered are the ones you added in Nahnu Fonts.

Why “System” fonts?#

Beaver Builder loads its Google group from Google. Listing your fonts as system fonts means Beaver Builder uses them by name and never fetches them from Google. Your stylesheet serves the files.

If Beaver Builder already lists a font with the same name, the Nahnu Fonts version is used.

Google Fonts switch#

With Stop page builders loading Google Fonts on (the default), Beaver Builder’s Google fonts are removed from the picker and are no longer loaded on your site.

Modules that already use a Google font keep its name. Add that family in Nahnu Fonts to serve it from your site.

Good to know#

  • Beaver Builder’s “Recently used” fonts list may still request a Google font in the editor. Your site’s visitors aren’t affected.
  • Beaver Themer layouts use the same font picker and work the same way.

Turn it off#
