Nahnu Fonts: Changelog
2026
New
1.0.0
This is the first release of Nahnu Fonts: self-hosted fonts for WordPress, with nothing sent to Google.
Your fonts, in one place
- A font library to manage all of your fonts, with live previews and on/off switches.
- Self-hosted Google Fonts. Browse the full collection, pick the weights, italics and character sets you need, and the files are saved to your own server.
- Bunny Fonts as the default font source, so browsing and downloading fonts never contacts Google. You can switch to Google directly in Settings.
- Variable Google Fonts, with one file for every weight.
- Custom font uploads in WOFF2, WOFF, TTF and OTF. Weight, style and variable axes are read from the files where possible.
- Adobe Fonts. Connect a web project with its project ID, no API key needed.
Fast and private
- All fonts load from one cached stylesheet.
- Choose your font-display setting, download only the character sets you need, and preload up to 3 font files.
- A privacy switch to remove Google Fonts stylesheets added by your theme or other plugins.
- An option to stop page builders and themes from loading Google Fonts, where they support it.
- Automatic page cache clearing for WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, WP Fastest Cache, SiteGround Optimizer, Breeze and WP-Optimize when your fonts change.
Works with your builder
- Block editor and Site Editor support. Your fonts appear in the Typography font picker.
- Integrations with Bricks, Elementor, Breakdance, Beaver Builder, Builderius, Etch, GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks, Kadence and Kadence Blocks, Blocksy, Greenshift, FunnelKit, YellowPencil and the Classic Editor.
- Each integration turns on by itself and can be turned off in Settings.
- “Apply to” CSS selectors for each font, and a –nahnu-font-{name} CSS variable for every font.
Easy to move
- Import and export your fonts and settings in one .zip file.
- One-click move from Jooosi Fon. It copies every font, file and setting, keeps Jooosi Fon’s CSS names working, and re-downloads its Google Fonts through Bunny Fonts.
Updates and support
- Get updates in WordPress with your license key, or download them from your customer dashboard.
- Unlimited sites on every plan.
For developers
- A PHP API, 58 actions and filters, a REST API with 12 routes and 10 WP-CLI commands.
- An integration interface for adding your own page builder or theme.
- The full reference is in our developer docs.
Requirements
- WordPress 7.1 or later
- PHP 8.3 or later
