Greenshift

1 min readUpdated October 28, 2026

Your fonts appear in Greenshift’s font picker as local fonts. Checked against the Greenshift source.

Use a font#

  1. Select a Greenshift block in the block editor.
  2. Open its typography settings and the font family list.
  3. Your fonts are listed with Greenshift’s local fonts.

Greenshift doesn’t need to load these fonts itself: Nahnu Fonts’ stylesheet already serves them on every page and in the editor.

Google Fonts switch#

The switch doesn’t change anything in Greenshift. If Greenshift blocks on your site use Google Fonts you want to stop, add those families in Nahnu Fonts and turn on Settings → Privacy → Block Google Fonts from the theme and other plugins.

Good to know#

  • If you added the same family in Greenshift’s own local fonts, keep only one of the two.
  • Core blocks use the block editor’s Typography panel, which also lists your fonts. See Block editor and Site Editor.

Turn it off#

Settings → Where fonts appear → Use with Greenshift.
